See her now — Jacqueline Bisset, 78, continues to dazzle audiences with her innate beauty

There are many ways in which Jacqueline Bisset is exceptional.

After 58 years in the industry and a filmography that includes about 50 movies, the 78-year-old actress is still going strong.

When I was young, Jacqueline Bisset served as one of my role models, and my parents thought highly of her. She is one of the few actors currently on the scene who truly captures the glitz and glamour of classic Hollywood.

She has always aged gracefully, and I have always found her attractive. Never did she overdo it on the makeup.

The brunette beauty has demonstrated her versatility throughout her illustrious career by taking on a variety of roles, such as the seductive seductress Miss Goodthighs in the spy parody Casino Royale, a devoted mother in Sleepy Time Gal, and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in America’s Prince: The John F. John F. Kennedy Jr. Novels Anna Karenina and Story.

In 1966, Bisset made her big-screen debut in Roman Polanski’s Cul-de-Sac. She gained notoriety in 1968 after appearing in two consecutive motion pictures, including The Sweet Ride, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination, Detective, starring Frank Sinatra, and Bullitt, directed by Steven McQueen. She also received recognition for her role alongside Tony Franciosa and Bob Denver, who is best known for playing Gilligan on Gilligan’s Island, in The Sweet Ride, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination.

She received a Golden Globe and an Emmy nod for her performances in the films Day for Night, Murder on the Orient Express, The Deep, Wild Orchid, Joan of Arc, the miniseries Dancing on the Edge, Miss You Already, and Birds of Paradise.

In 2010, the multilingual performer—who is trilingual—received the Legion of Honor, France’s highest state honor. (Speaks French, Italian, and English). In 2023, the Sedona International Film Festival will give Bisset a Lifetime Achievement Award.
