The company attributed the listing to a “technical issue,” stating that the book was actually uploaded late on September 10, after Kirk’s death. “We apologize for any confusion,” a spokesperson told Breitbart News, noting that the title violated Amazon’s content guidelines and had been permanently removed from the platform.
Kirk was allegedly killed by 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who was arrested after being turned in by his father, a retired police officer. Authorities continue to investigate Robinson’s possible radicalization and connections to far-left ideology, as well as any signs of premeditation or online influence leading up to the assassination.
The incident has sparked a broader national debate over political violence, online extremism, and the safety of public figures. Federal officials are also probing whether any Utah-based leftist groups were aware of or supported Robinson’s actions, with at least one group reportedly deleting its online presence after the attack.
